ENTRY INFO: Entries for Championship, Premiership, AOV and Provisional classes must have the registration number on the entry blank and printed in the catalog. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Entry clerk will phone collect to clarify entries where necessary. Fees must accompany entries and no fees will be refunded due to failure to bench. The club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge non-championship and Household Pet classes. Kittens must be 4 months of age or older on the opening day of the show.

HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly recommended that all entries be inoculated for protection against Feline Enteritis, Rhinotracheitis, Calici viruses, and tested for FeLV. All entries must be free of fungus and parasites. ALL ENTRIES MUST HAVE CLAWS CLIPPED. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry.

CAGES: Cage size is 36" wide, 24" deep, and 27" high. One cat or two kittens may be benched per cage.

AMENITIES: Litter will be provided. Bring your own litter trays, food and dishes.

AWARDS: Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with CFA Show Rules. For a copy of the current CFA Show Rules, send $4.00 to the Cat Fanciers' Association, P.O. Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005.

SHOW HOURS: Check-in time will be Saturday, March 4, 2000, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Judging begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, 9:00 a.m. Sunday. Advertised show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday; 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

HOUSEHOLD PET INFO: Household Pets must be 4 months of age or older on the opening day of the show, and if 8 months of age or older must be spayed or neutered. All nails must be clipped and cats should be bathed. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. If you have any questions about showing your cat, please feel free to call the Show Manager.

SHOW HOTEL: LA QUINTA INN, 5818 Valentine Road, Ventura, CA 805.658.6200. Ask for Cat Show rate of $53.10 for 2 double beds or $62.10 for one king. Price includes free continental breakfast. Deadline for reservations is February 21, 2000.

SHOW HALL INFO: SEASIDE PARK (THE VENTURA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS), 10 West Harbor Boulevard, Ventura, CA 93001. The Show Hall is air conditioned/heated depending upon the weather, and has ample parking. Smoking is not permitted in the Show Hall. If you have small children, please control them. Show Hall and facilities are handicapped accessible.

DIRECTIONS TO SHOW HALL: From Los Angeles and points South take highway 101 (Ventura Freeway) North to Ventura. Take the California Street exit and turn left (West) on California. Go 1 block and turn right on Harbor, then one block to the first stop sign (Figueroa Street). Turn left on Figueroa and follow the signs into the Fairgrounds parking lot.

From San Bernardino and points take 101 (Ventura Freeway) South to Ventura. Take the Ventura Avenue exit and turn right. Go 1 block to Figueroa Street and turn right on Figueroa. Follow the signs into the Fairgrounds parking lot.
